Production

In October 2018, director Amar Kaushik revealed his intentions to create a sequel to the film Stree. By February 2022, actor Rajkummar Rao confirmed that the sequel was indeed in development, building anticipation among fans. The project took a significant step forward in March 2023, entering the pre-production phase, with plans to begin filming in July 2023.

The momentum continued into April 2023, when the filmmakers officially announced the sequel’s release date, setting it for 30 August 2024. This announcement marked a major milestone, heightening excitement for the much-anticipated follow-up to the original hit.
