Plot:

Joe, a freshman at an engineering college, becomes infatuated with Suchithra after witnessing her cry. Determined to win her over, Joe employs various methods to court her, ultimately defending her against a senior from Kerala and earning her affection. Despite Suchi reciprocating his feelings, her family disapproves of their relationship and confronts Joe, leading to a heated argument. During this argument, Joe inadvertently lays hands on Suchi’s father, causing a misunderstanding that prompts Suchi to tell Joe to leave. Heartbroken, Joe warns her that she will regret this decision before walking away and turning to alcohol to cope with his pain.

Months later, Joe remains heartbroken and increasingly dependent on alcohol. His friends attempt to console him, but Joe is further devastated when a Facebook notification on a friend’s phone reveals that Suchi is now engaged to another man. In a surprising turn, Joe discloses that he and Suchi had secretly married and insists that they travel to Kerala to see her. Upon arrival, they are met with a somber scene as everyone mourns Suchithra’s death. Joe is attacked by her cousins, who blame him for her demise. However, Suchi’s father intervenes, threatening to kill anyone who harms Joe. He clarifies that Joe is not responsible for her suicide. Instead, he explains that Suchi remained loyal to Joe and was deeply affected by the incident where Joe slapped her father. This humiliation haunted her, contributing to her tragic decision, despite her enduring love for Joe.

Hariharan Ram S. debuted as a director with this film, casting his friend Rio Raj in the lead role. Filming occurred over 37 days throughout 2022 and wrapped up by January 2023. The production featured scenes shot in various locations, including Rameswaram, Dhanushkodi, Pollachi, Chennai, and Coimbatore.
