Drake, who is one of the biggest rappers in the world, has filed a complaint in a court. He says that Universal Music Group (UMG) and Spotify adopted unfair methods so that Kendrick Lamar’s song Not Like Us could become more popular.
What did Drake say?

- The song was played more on the radio by paying money: Radio stations were paid so that they play this song repeatedly every day.
- Cheap deal with Spotify: UMG gave Spotify a deal for this song at a very low price so that the song is heard again and again and its count increases.
Drake’s team also said that UMG fired those employees (staff) who stood with Drake.
UMG’s Reply
UMG called all these allegations false. They said, We always work honestly. Drake’s allegations have been made just to spread lies. All our work is correct and according to the rules.
