Plot
Deadpool starts working as a used car salesman. During his birthday party, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) captures him and brings him to Mr. Paradox, who offers Deadpool a place on Earth-616. Paradox also reveals that Deadpool’s timeline is deteriorating because of the death of James “Logan” Howlett, who was the timeline’s “anchor being.” Determined to save his timeline, Deadpool steals Paradox’s TemPad and travels the multiverse searching for a Logan variant.
Throughout his journey, Deadpool encounters various versions of Logan. Eventually, he returns one to the TVA, only to discover that this Logan variant has destroyed his universe. Mr. Paradox prunes both Deadpool and Logan into the Void. There, they fight until Johnny Storm intervenes, leading to all three being captured and brought to Cassandra Nova. Logan identifies her as the twin sister of Charles Xavier, the leader of the X-Men.
In Nova’s lair, she displays her power to manipulate minds and explains her agreement with the TVA to remain in the Void as a gang leader. Nova kills Johnny Storm and attempts to undermine Deadpool’s confidence by making him feel unnecessary. Before she can do more harm, Alioth, the all-consuming entity, appears. Deadpool and Logan manage to escape just before Alioth can consume them. This experience leaves Deadpool more determined than ever to find a way to stabilize his timeline and save it from destruction.

On Rotten Tomatoes, 81% of the 242 reviews from critics are positive, with the film earning an average rating of 7.1 out of 10. Meanwhile, Metacritic, which calculates a weighted average, gave the movie a score of 56 out of 100 based on 52 critics, reflecting “mixed or average” reviews.
