Plot
Sivanaindhan (Ponvel) and his best friend Sekar (Raghul) attend the government school in Karunkalam village. Where Sivanaindhan’s crush on their teacher, Poonkodi, gets him into trouble. When (Nikhila Vimal) pink and white handkerchief drops quickly grabs it and hides it in his pocket. In class, he takes a whiff of the hanky and imagines himself as Rajinikanth, with his teacher as Radha in Rajathi Radha. Falling in love with her at first sight. Incidentally, Sivanaindhan is an ardent Rajini fan, while Sekar is a Kamal fan, and the two often banter about their idols. At home, Sivanaindhan lives with his mother and sister, Vembu, and spends weekends helping them pluck bananas in the plantations to make ends meet.
However, he despises the work and often lies to avoid this arduous chore, finding a sympathizer in Poonkodi, who forgives his lies rather than punishing him. Beyond his family, the entire village works on the banana plantations. Kani (Kalaiyarasan), who helps load banana stalks onto trucks, becomes the village’s voice against the scheming trader who pays them meager wages. The situation reaches a boiling point when Kani demands more money. What happens next? Will Sivanaindhan continue to avoid helping his mother on the plantation?
