After the release of “Yeh Meri Family” in July 2018, screenwriter Saurabh Khanna began working on another project for The Viral Fever (TVF). This new series reported to focus on a teenager who joins a coaching institute for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) entrance exam (JEE Advanced), explores the intense academic pressure and vibrant hostel life of students. While Khanna acknowledged similarities to Biswa Kalyan Rath’s “Laakhon Mein Ek” and Hemant Gaba’s documentary “An Engineered Dream,” he emphasized that his script is uniquely different as it is set in Kota, Rajasthan, the epicenter of India’s coaching industry.
