In India, the film grossed over 700 crores, while its worldwide total surpassed 1050 crores. During its remarkable run, the movie hit several milestones, including setting an all-time record at AMB Cinemas.
Ultimately, Kalki 2898 AD finished its global run with a total gross of 1054.67 crores, making it the seventh highest-grossing Indian film ever. Of this, India contributed 770.78 crores gross (653.21 crores net), and the overseas market added 283.89 crores gross. T
he film saw outstanding performance in its Hindi and Telugu versions, with both languages earning close to 300 crores net each in the Indian market.
Review
Arshad began by admiring Amitabh Bachchan’s incredible presence in Kalki, expressing his amazement at the legendary actor’s star power. “I watched Kalki and didn’t like it. my heart when… Amit Ji was unbelievable. I can’t understand how he does it. If we had his energy, our lives would be set.” However, Arshad didn’t hold back in his critique of the film. He expressed disappointment with Prabhas’ role, saying, “Prabhas, I’m really sad. Why did they make him look like a joker? I was expecting to see a Mad Max, a Mel Gibson. Why do they do this? I just don’t get it.”
