OTT Release Date
Kavin’s new Tamil film Bloody Beggar did not do much in the theatres. It collected only 7.8 crores in 11 days, and the lifetime collection is expected to reach a maximum of 10 crores. But now this film will stream on Prime Video from 29 November.
Summary of the story
The story of Bloody Beggar revolves around a beggar who pretends to be sick to earn money from people. One day, some people invite him to join a charity event. The hungry man becomes a beggar but after entering the event mansion, he gets trapped there. What happens to him in the big palace forms the main center of the story.
Cast and Crew
Cinematography is done by Sujith Sarang which brings the tense palace of the film to life. R. Nirmal’s editing keeps the film firmly tied for 139 minutes, and Jen Martin’s music makes the story even more interesting.
Specialities
The biggest specialty of the film is its unique and different story. It is very rare to see the life of a beggar shown in such a suspenseful manner. The mansion setting makes the story even more thrilling. The slightly slow pace of the story and the weak direction of some scenes made this film less liked in the theatre.
Verdict
Bloody Beggar did not get much success in the theatre, but for those who are fond of unique and slightly different stories, this film can be a good experience. You can enjoy this film at home on Prime Video starting 29 November.
If you missed this film in the theatre, then now is the right opportunity to see every part of this story at home.
