Buddy is a Telugu action-comedy entertainer helmed by director Sam Anton. Plot
Aditya Ram is a pilot at Vizag airport, while Pallavi (played by Gayatri Bharadwaj) begins her career there as an air traffic controller. On her first day, she encounters a challenging situation with a flight landing, but Aditya steps in to assist her, sparking a friendship that soon blossoms into deeper feelings, even though they’ve never met in person. However, the story takes a dramatic turn when Pallavi is kidnapped by Kabir’s (Ajmal Ameer) gang and taken to Hong Kong just as she’s about to meet Aditya.
But why did Kabir’s gang abduct Pallavi? What led them to take her all the way to Hong Kong? Who exactly is Kabir, and what’s his connection to Pallavi? A mysterious teddy bear seems to have a significant role in her life what does it want, and why is it so determined to protect her? As Aditya learns of Pallavi’s fate, he faces the daunting task of rescuing her. But how did he plan to reach Hong Kong? And in his mission to save Pallavi, did he manage to dismantle Kabir’s criminal operations?
The film Buddy unravels these intriguing questions, weaving them into a thrilling narrative that keeps the audience guessing until the very end.

The movie Buddy had a slow start at the box office, bringing in just ₹0.25 crore on its opening day. The second day saw a slight increase, with collections reaching ₹0.27 crore. After a full week in theaters, the film has managed to earn only ₹1.5 crore in total.
