On the second Saturday, Stree 2 witnessed a remarkable 88% increase in earnings, raking in ₹33.8 crore. This upward momentum carried into the second Sunday, with early estimates from Sacnilk indicating a collection of ₹44 crore. With this boost, the film’s day 11 Box Office Collection total domestic earnings have soared to a staggering ₹386.15 crore.

The sequel’s momentum hasn’t faltered, showing a significant boost in earnings during the second weekend. On the second Saturday, Stree 2 saw a tremendous 88% jump in revenue, bringing in ₹33.8 crore. These impressive figures have pushed the film’s box Office Collection total to an incredible ₹386.15 crore.
Stree 2 Approaches Record Ticket Sales
The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer is on the verge of setting a new record in ticket sales. In just 11 days, over 7.4 million tickets have been sold nationwide for the film. Despite this impressive number, it currently ranks sixth in terms of total ticket sales. Leading the list is Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan’s Kalki 2898 AD, which sold a staggering 13.14 million tickets, or over 1.31 crore, over its lifetime.
Amar Kaushik’s Vision Cast Abhishek as Jana in ‘Stree 2’
Abhishek, who portrays Jana in the film, recently shared with PTI how he landed the role. He referred to Amar Kaushik ji as one of the most forward-thinking filmmakers of our era. I’ve always been hesitant to approach big directors, but one day, I mustered the courage to ask him to keep me in mind for any future roles. After seeing my performance as a dark villain in Ajji, directed by Devashish Makhija, Amar ji complimented me by saying I reminded him of Amrish Puri ji. When I found out he was making Stree, I reminded him about giving me a role.
I usually prefer roles with a bit more attitude. But Amar ji saw something in me that I hadn’t recognized a certain goofiness and sweetness. He insisted I take on the role, and that’s how I ended up playing such a wonderful character.
