Alien: Romulus: Box Office, Plot, Rating and Movie Review

Plot

A Weyland-Yutani probe finds the wreckage of the USCSS Nostromo and collects an organic object containing a Xenomorph. Rain Carradine, an orphan working on the colony Jackson’s Star with her adoptive brother Andy, a reprogrammed synthetic human, faces a forced contract extension by Weyland-Yutani. Looking for a way out, she agrees to join her ex-boyfriend Tyler and his group, which includes his pregnant sister Kay and cousin Bjorn, on a mission to retrieve cryostasis chambers from an abandoned spacecraft.

They hope to escape to the planet Yvaga, with Andy’s ability to connect with the ship’s systems being key to their plan. However, during the mission, Tyler, Bjorn, and Andy accidentally revive dangerous facehuggers, causing a lockdown on the ship. To fix this, Rain installs a chip from a broken android named Rook into Andy, giving him control over the station but also changing his programming to make him loyal to Weyland-Yutani. As they try to escape, Navarro is attacked by a facehugger, and a deadly creature later bursts out of her chest.

The situation worsens when their ship, the Corbelan, crashes, putting the station on a path to collide with Jackson’s rings. Kay is captured by a Xenomorph, and despite their best efforts, Tyler is killed. Andy is also damaged, but Rain manages to disable the station’s gravity and defeat the Xenomorphs before escaping. After injecting herself with a special compound, Kay gives birth to a human-Xenomorph hybrid that kills her. Rain manages to eject the creature into space and puts Andy in stasis, hoping they will make it to Yvaga safely.
