On the film’s debut, Tangalan raked in 12.5 crores in Tamil Nadu, 2.2 crores in Andhra and Nizam, 1.3 crores in Karnataka, and 3.5 crores from international markets. Trade reports indicate that the film’s first-day shares were 20 crores, with a gross collection of 26.44 crores.
On its second day, the film continued to perform well, particularly in Tamil Nadu where it earned Rs 3.5 crore, and Rs 1 crore in Telugu. It also gathered 70 lakhs in Karnataka and 2 crores internationally, totaling a second-day collection of 7.5 crores.
