Plot
Tripti Dimri is a dedicated chef with aspirations of earning the prestigious Meraki Star for her restaurant. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets and marries Akhil Chadha (Vicky Kaushal). Their initial happiness is short-lived as marital problems surface, one of which leads to the loss of her restaurant’s Meraki Star, resulting in her dismissal from the job. Overwhelmed by the turmoil, Saloni and Akhil decide to divorce.
Seeking a fresh start, Saloni moves to Mussoorie and begins working at a restaurant owned by Gurbir Singh Pannu (Ammy Virk). Amidst a series of events, Saloni, in a drunken state, ends up having a one-night stand with Gurbir. Ironically, that same night, Akhil shows up, hoping to reconcile, and they also share an intimate encounter.
Consequently, Saloni becomes pregnant and takes a paternity test to determine the baby’s father. To her shock, she discovers she is expecting twins. An unusual medical phenomenon known as heteropaternal superfecundation reveals that the twins have different fathers – one child fathered by Akhil and the other by Gurbir. This revelation ignites a rivalry between the two men, each striving to prove himself as the better partner and father.
As the stress mounts, Saloni’s health deteriorates, causing her to faint. She is rushed to the hospital where the doctor delivers alarming news: Gurbir’s baby is not developing well while Akhil’s baby is growing normally. The doctor warns that delaying the twins’ birth until the due date could jeopardize Gurbir’s baby’s survival.
During this emotional turmoil, Saloni faces a critical decision that could impact the lives of her children and her future. This dramatic narrative explores themes of love, conflict, and the complexities of parenthood, culminating in a poignant and heart-wrenching conclusion.
